The Wild Garden

"The wild garden" is a publication that aims to provide general information on the wild garden and its implementation.

It consists of two main sections:

  • the first explains what a wild garden is, what its main characteristics are, what the components that form it. A general description is made for the latter, indicating the basic path to follow in the construction and maintenance of the garden.
  • the second describes the state of knowledge relating to the design and construction of wild gardens, at an international level, with a focus on those created in the school environment.

This publication aims to be an in-depth study for teachers, but also a present and future reference text for anyone who wants to try their hand at creating a wild garden, and set up small or large spaces, public and / or private, which will be useful for sharing good practices to promote biodiversity, including in an urban environment.
